The blast occurred at Central Chowk intersection in Dadu district, about 225 km from here, local police chief Ghazi Salahuddin said.
Some buildings and shops in the area were also damaged in the blast, the DawnNews reported quoting witnesses.
“It was a huge blast, but it mainly destroyed the sweet shop and the rickshaw in front of the shop,” a witness said.
The explosion wounded nine people who were brought to the main hospital in Dadu, said hospital official Rafiq Kolachi.
Meanwhile, one suspect was arrested from the site and shifted to unknown place for investigation, the police said.
