Three killed in blast at Pakistan minister’ home (Lead)
September 9th, 2010 - 11:27 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Sep 9 (IANS) At least three people were killed and six wounded when a car bomb exploded inside the residence of a provincial minister in Pakistan’s Balochistan province Thursday, a media report said.
The explosion occurred inside the residential complex of Balochistan finance minister Asim Ali Kurd, near the Railway Housing Society area in Quetta, Dawn News reported.
Two people among the dead were the minister’s security guards.
The 15-kg bomb was planted in a vehicle parked inside the residential complex, Inspector General Malik Muhammad Iqbal was quoted as saying.
