Three killed in Al Qaeda attack in Yemen
July 14th, 2010 - 10:21 pm ICT by IANSSanaa, July 14 (IANS/AKI) Three people were killed when Al Qaeda militants armed with automatic weapons attacked a Yemeni intelligence agency headquarters Wednesday, police said.
The attack took place in southern Abyan city. It was the second attack in less than a month against the agency.
On June 19, at least 11 people were killed when Al Qaeda militants attacked the intelligence headquarters in the southern port city of Aden.
Yemen is the ancestral homeland of Al Qaeda founder Osama Bin Laden.
