Three killed, 20 injured in Russian city bomb blast
May 27th, 2010 - 12:38 am ICT by IANSStavropol (Russia), May 26 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Three people were killed and 20 injured in a bomb blast in the southern Russian city of Stavropol, authorities said Wednesday.
City administration civil defence chief Boris Skripka said an explosive device went off 15 meters from a concert hall in the city centre.
“A terrorist attack is being considered as one of the versions of what occurred,” Skripka said, adding that all the dead were women.
A law enforcement source told RIA Novosti that a car exploded. An investigation is underway.
