Three kids die in US fire
December 26th, 2011 - 11:37 am ICT by IANSWashington, Dec 26 (IANS/EFE) Five people, including three children, died in a fire early Sunday at a house in Stamford, Connecticut, an official said.
The victims were two adults and three children, Stamford Mayor Michael Pavia said.
Two other people got out of the burning house and were hospitalized, Stamford fire chief Antonio Conte said, adding that the cause of the blaze had not been determined.
A neighbour, who said he did not know the victims, told reporters he was awakened by cries and saw the house completely enveloped in flames.
