Three injured in car bomb blast in Northern Ireland
April 23rd, 2010 - 8:05 am ICT by IANSLondon, April 23 (IANS) Three people have been injured in a car bomb explosion outside a police station in Newtownhamilton in Northern Ireland, Xinhua reported Friday.
The incident took place Thursday night Newtownhamilton town. An hour before the blast, an anonymous caller had alerted the staff at the Belfast hospital about an abandoned car near the scene of the attack. The injured have been hospitalised.
The police station and several nearby houses were damaged in the blast.
