Three die in Afghan bombing

Kabul, June 19 (IANS) Three people were killed and 11 others injured Sunday in a suicide car bomb attack targeting a military convoy in northern Afghanistan, Xinhua reported.
An explosives-laden car was detonated around 9.30 a.m. in Kunduz province, 250 km north of Kabul, killing three people and wounding 11 others, the interior ministry said.
The blast occurred near a military convoy of the NATO-led forces but no was hurt on the coalition forces’ side.
The ministry has blamed the Taliban for the attack.
