Thom Yorke got cold feet before world tourJune 26th, 2008 - 1:30 pm ICT by IANS
London, June 26 (IANS) Thom Yorke, lead singer of the rock band Radiohead, reveals that he was paralysed by fear before going on their recent world tour. Ananova.com reports that the band had their first of four UK gigs in London recently and played songs from almost all their albums. Yorke thanked the crowd for their “good vibes” towards the end of the performance and admitted he was scared to return to perform in front of such huge crowds.
One fan said: “During the encore Thom admitted he had been nervous and it did show at the start of the gig, but the nerves didn’t last long and the rest of the two-hour set just blew us away.”
