Theme Park Based On Noah’s Ark Coming Up In Kentucky

Dec 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new theme park based on the Biblical Noah’s Ark will be coming up in Kentucky within the next few years. The Bible based theme park will be known as the Ark Encounter. It is expected to draw in a large number of tourists. Moreover the project is being considered as a platform for bringing in some employment in the state of Kentucky.
According to sources, Steven L. Beshear, Governor of Kentucky has announced plans for the construction of this park. He has sanctioned for the building of the Ark Encounter by the state and said that he is quite positive that the project will help the government to a great extent in combating the serious issue of unemployment. The Ark Encounter will have the Biblical Noah’ Ark as the center of attraction for the tourists. It is being speculated that the project is expected to be finished by 2014. The Kentucky government have serious plans of placing Ark Encounter in the Kentucky tourist map.
An insider connected with this project revealed that the park along with the holy ark will also include a walled city, a replica of the Tower of Babel. A Middle Eastern village from the the first century will also be recreated inside the Ark Encounter. Even a special effects theater with a capacity 0f 500 will also be made. The project will be made by the Ark Encounter LLC and Answers in Genesis. It is being estimated that the theme park will draw 1.6million visitors every year. Ark Encounter is bearing the maximum amount for the project by raising $125 million while Answers in Genesis is said to have raised $24.5 million.
