Thai man catches cobra snake in his mouth!
December 18th, 2009 - 6:11 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Dec 18 (ANI): Khunsan, a Thai street performer, is a veteran at the game of ’snake boxing’.
In the dangerous sport, a fighter teases a king cobra close to him and then dodges its lethal bite, reports the Sun.
Snake boxing killed three villagers last year, as the venom of a cobra paralyses the nervous system, ending a man’s life within 15 minutes.
Many have also lost their fingers to the game.
Moreover, the only remedies available for a cobra bite are crushed leaves and lemon juice, which often fail to save lives.
However, men like Khunsan still go on with the shows to earn a living. (ANI)
