London, July 26 (ANI): Terrorists will attack Britain in revenge for invading Afghanistan, former cricket legend Imran Khan has warned.
Khan claimed that Britain has made itself the top terror target in the world.
The cricketer-turned-politician, who is bidding to become Pakistan’s next Prime Minister, issued his chilling warning during a tour of Britain, the Daily Star reports.
Addressing a rally in Glasgow, Scotland, Khan said he was against the conflict in Afghanistan.
“The situation continues to deteriorate and no objectives are being achieved. British lives continue to be lost and far from making British streets safer, the war is making them less safe,” he added.
Recent intense fighting against the Taliban has seen the number of British lives lost since 2001 soar to 330.
Former SAS deputy commander Clive Fairweather believes Britain could lose another 400 men before withdrawing in 2014. (ANI)
