Shaan Beijing, Aug 2 (IANS) Police in China have launched a probe into an incident in which a 13-year-old boy was seduced into having paid sex.

It all happened inside a public bathing centre in Shaanxi province where the boy was waiting for a venereal disease test at a hospital, Shanghai Daily quoted a Chinese Business Review report.

The boy was visiting the Ya Long Wan bathing centre with his mother and several other female relatives about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

He narrated how a male clerk approached him when he finished a bath and asked if he needed a massage.

The boy said he had no idea about what was going to happen when he was coaxed into a small room. The woman (prostitute) allegedly asked for his age before the service. But she still continued despite his saying that he was 13, the newspaper said.

The boy’s father was in for a rude shock after he was passed on a bill.

“I could hardly believe what I was told at that moment,” the boy’s father, surnamed Meng, told the newspaper as he recalled receiving a 198 yuan ($31) service bill with his son’s confirmation signature on it.
