Los Angeles, June 1 (ANI): Alvin Dymally, a juror in Anand Jon’s case, has been accused of misconduct that may lead to a fresh trial for the Indian-born fashion designer.

Defence attorneys representing Jon have presented an audio tape they say proves Dymally spoke with their client’s sister during the trial, contradicting the juror’s sworn testimony given hours earlier.

Dymally testified for several hours that he never contacted the defendant’s sister.

However, on Friday, defence attorney Leonard Levine played a tape in court that he says is a phone conversation between Sanjana Alexander and Dymally.

While much of the tape is largely inaudible, the man talking defense attorneys believe is Dymally, who does much of the talking. (ANI)
