Sweden’s crown princess to visit UAE
January 15th, 2011 - 12:35 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 14 (IANS/WAM) Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria will visit the United Arab Emirates to participate in the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi Jan 17-20.The princess will be a keynote speaker on the opening day.
She will be accompanied by state secretary Daniel Johansson, ministry for energy and enterprise and director general Tomas Kaberger from the Swedish Energy Agency, according to a statement issued by the embassy of Sweden in Abu Dhabi.
During the four-day stay in the UAE, Victoria will inaugurate the Swedish Pavilion at the summit and will visit the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
She will also visit the Scandinavian Seaman’s Center in Dubai on the invitation of the Swedish Church.
