Surfboard-like cooker could spell the end of pots and pans
February 17th, 2010 - 4:34 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 17 (ANI): A new cooker could soon make life in the kitchen a lot more simpler.
The cooker, which resembles a giant surfboard, enables a user to make a pan-shaped hole in its softened surface with his/her hand.
Thereafter, ingredients can be poured into it and the surface heats up to cook them.
The gadget is also capable of analysing ingredients placed on it and even suggests recipes.
This cooker, designed by Electrolux, will also do away with the use of numerous pots and pans for cooking.
“This is a concept, but it is the kind of technology we could expect to use in 40 years’ time,” the Sun quoted Susan Dean of Electrolux, as saying. (ANI)
