Super Bowl commercial featuring porn star banned
February 1st, 2011 - 6:09 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Feb 1 (ANI): US network FOX has banned a Super Bowl commercial featuring a porn star days ahead of the game.
The ad was due to be shown during Monday’s game, but FOX rejected the ad from matchmaking infidelity website AshleyMadison.com, saying the network’s standards deemed it unacceptable.
The 30-second ad shows US porn star Savanna Samson, whose character appears excited her husband is having an affair, reports the Herald Sun.
In the commercial’s finale her clothes explode, leaving her in her underwear.
This is not the first time an advertisement from the site has been banned from appearing during the Superbowl.
A similar ad was deemed inappropriate and shot down in 2009. (ANI)
