Sully Speaks on ‘Miracle on the Hudson’s’ Second Anniversary

Jan 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tomorrow will be the second anniversary of the miraculous landing of the US Airways aircraft which was bound for Charlotte, NC. The “Miracle on the Hudson” as it has been named, was performed when Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger was able to safely land a plane full of passengers on the Hudson River.

Much to Capt. Sully’s amazement, people all over the world are still wishing to hear the powerful story of the fifty eight year old former Air Force pilot’s act of heroism. He shared with the ‘Associated Press’ that people still gather around him once he is recognized and ask to hear his tale. The incident occurred on January 15, 2009, and is still a story of hope which people want to hear.

Although he had already been interviewed many times, and wrote a book on the happenings from that day, Sully is still often asked to share his inspiring story. Capt Sully can be seen speaking with the ‘Associated Press’ in the video embedded below.
