Suicide, murder leave six dead in Haryana
October 31st, 2010 - 4:06 pm ICT by IANSBhiwani (Haryana), Oct 31 (IANS) Two incidents of murder and suicide, claiming three lives each, left the residents of Bhiwani district of Haryana shocked Sunday morning.
In the first incident, a youth shot dead his parents in Pahadi Mohalla area of Bhiwani early Sunday, before shooting himself, police said. Three letters were recovered from the room where the bodies were found.
“The youth, named Vishnu Sharma, wrote the name of 2-3 people, including a woman, blaming them for harassing the family which, led to his taking the extreme step,” Bhiwani district police chief Ashwin told IANS.
In the other incident, police recovered three bodies near Mithal village of the district.
The victims, two males and a teenaged girl, belonged to the Jat community and were between 18-22 years of age.
Police said the three seemed to have consumed poison. Some poisonous substances and Celphos tablets were found near the bodies.
“It looks like there is a love angle in this incident,” police said.
The victims were residents of Chang and Mithal villages of this district, some 280 km from Chandigarh.
