Suicide blast rocks Kabul hospital
May 21st, 2011 - 4:03 pm ICT by IANSKabul, May 21 (IANS) Casualties are feared after a suicide bomber blew himself up in the emergency ward of a military hospital in the Afghan capital Saturday, Xinhua reported.
The attacker targeted the Mohammad Daud Military Hospital in the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul.
An Afghan official, requesting anonymity, said: “A suicide bomber blew himself up inside the emergency ward of the 400-bed Mohammad Daud Hospital in Wazir Akbar Khan district at noon time.”
