January 28th, 2011 - 7:12 pm ICT by ANIKabul, Jan 28 (ANI): At least six people, including foreigners and two women were killed in a suicide attack in Kabul supermarket on Friday.
The suicide bomber opened fire in one of the stores in the “Finest” market, located near the British embassy, before detonating explosives on his body. The blast left debris scattered all over the road, the BBC reports.
Mary Hayden, a consultant who was in the shop, said: “A bomb went off. Everyone was running to the back of the building.”
Earlier, police had said that a gas canister was the cause of the blast. (ANI)
