Spice Girls have gotten closer, says Mel CMarch 7th, 2008 - 1:10 pm ICT by admin
London, March 7 (IANS) Spice Girls singer Mel C laughs off rumours that there is internal strife in the band. Mel C says the group tried to complete their tour but other commitments, including motherhood came in the way, and they had to cut short their plans. She was vehement that there was no bad blood among them, contactmusic.com reports.
She said: “All of us have really enjoyed getting closer again. The whole atmosphere on the tour was fun and there hasn’t been time for any bickering or the fighting that’s always reported about the Spice Girls.
“It’s like a big family. There’s been more laughing than anything else.”
She also added that because of the tour the girls have gotten closer and have a special bond.
“We’ve been through something so unique together that even if we don’t see each other for a few months, we get together and it’s been like no time has passed at all,” she added.
Though there are no plans for future recording plans, she is still hopeful they might work together.
