Spears to regain access to kids soonFebruary 24th, 2008 - 4:30 pm ICT by admin
New York, Feb 24 (IANS) Pop star Britney Spears will soon be allowed to visit her two sons again after reaching an agreement with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. At a hearing in Los Angeles last week, a judge refused to change Spears’ current access levels to her kids, but she has now reached an agreement with Federline who has allowed her to visit her children, hollywood.com reports.
Spears was stripped of her visitation rights to her sons - Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1 - last month after a breakdown at her Beverly Hills home at the end of a scheduled visit.
Following the failed appeal, Federline was insistent that he wanted the situation resolved so that the children could be reunited with their mother as soon as possible.
Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s lawyer, said the singer would be granted access to her children “very soon”, but refused to reveal details of the agreement. He said both parents are pleased that a deal had been reached.
Federline was awarded primary custody of the children in October last year, and has sole custody of the kids following Spears’ breakdown in January.
