South Korea swine flu toll rises to eight
September 18th, 2009 - 12:33 am ICT by IANSSeoul, Sep 17 (IANS) A 64-year-old woman has died of swine flu in South Korea, raising to eight the number of deaths from the viral disease in the country, health officials said.The woman was admitted to a hospital after she was infected with the virus Aug 28.
South Korea has reported 9,968 cases of swine flu since May 2 when the first case was detected in the country. Currently, eight swine flu patients are in critical condition, WAM news agency reported Wednesday citing South Korean health officials.
