Somali pirates release Saudi tanker after ransom payment

Nairobi, Jan 9 (Xinhua) Somali pirates said Friday that they had freed a Saudi-owned supertanker after receiving $3 million in ransom, agencies reported.The supertanker Sirius Star, owned by the shipping arm of oil giant Saudi Aramco, was seized off the east African coast in November last year.
