Smell of Pumpkin Pie is Huge Turn On for Men
November 27th, 2010 - 2:13 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonNov 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a new study, the most intoxicating scent for males is not the newest perfume by Jennifer Aniston, nor Faith Hill. The scent with the most potent sexual appeal to men is said to be… pumpkin pie.
The research was done at Chicago’s Small and Taste Treatment and Research Center, and Dr Alan Hirsch, who performed the study stated that, “The number-one odor that enhanced penile blood flow was a combination of lavender and pumpkin pie.”
Also high on the list were strawberry and vanilla. These scents seem to reduce stress levels, which release inhibitions. Cranberry was the least sexually arousing scent.
Pumpkins are also said to be beneficial to men who suffer from erectile dysfunction, according to Dr Ralph Monserrat, “Pumpkin seeds are very rich in zinc. That, in itself, is very valuable in individuals who have prostate enlargement … because they are very rich in zinc, there will be an increase in testosterone and that increase will also increase the sexual desire.”
