Small plane crashes in Argentina
October 13th, 2011 - 11:31 am ICT by IANSBuenos Aires, Oct 13 (IANS/EFE) A man sleeping at his home in northeastern Argentina was jolted awake when a small plane crashed into the roof, media said.
The accident took place Monday in Pueblo Esther, a small community near the city of Rosario.
The pilot lost control of his aircraft shortly after taking off from a nearby flying club and the plane ended up wedged into the roof of the home.
“Nothing happened to the two pilots or to me, thank God,” homeowner Roberto told radio stations in Rosario.
“The two aviators climbed down through the hole (in the roof),” Roberto said.
“One of them was fine and the other was bleeding a little.”
