Small plane crash in Russia kills two
August 23rd, 2012 - 10:04 am ICT by IANSMoscow, Aug 23 (IANS) Two people were killed in a small plane crash near Russian city of St. Petersburg, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said Wednesday.
The light plane crashed at 3.21 p.m. The two victims onboard the Cessna-421 light plane were identified as residents of the St. Petersburg city and the Krasnodar region, Xinhua quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
The plane, belonging to a small airline Intertransavia, crashed into the ground near a children’s day-care facility shortly after takeoff, the ministry cited local police as saying.
