Aug 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a regular search by the power rangers for marijuana plants when they accidentally came across skeletal remains in Malibu area last Monday. The police after their investigation found out that the skeletal remains were those of Mitrice Richardson, a California woman who disappeared last year. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca said that the police does not suspect of any homicide in her case till now.

Mitrice Richardson has been reported missing since last September after she left Los Angeles Country Sheriff Department. Lee Baca said that he does not believe that the remains are capable of telling any stories till now. However, the police promised a through investigation to know the cause of the death and find out if she was killed. Michael Richardson, the grieving father of dead girl blamed the police yesterday saying that it was a negligence and mishandling by the police to leave her daughter in the early hours of the day without any money, car or even mobile phone as everything was detained by the police.

Mitrice Richardson was arrested by the police last September when she failed to pay the restaurant bill of $89, however, she was released soon but she did not return home from the police station. The news came as a bolt from the blue to the family and her father said that based on her daughter’s condition that night she was not able to “fend” for herself and asked a question to the media saying if $89 bill was enough to take his daughter to the jail. He broke into tears when he said that there could have been many other ways to handle the problem. Michael Richardson signed off saying that he will continue fight for his daughter.
