London, Aug 27 (IANS) A six-year-old British boy, who loves Harry Potter, has snared a publishing deal to write 23 books after he wrote a mini-novel about his dog.
Leo Hunter said that he wants to be “more famous than J.K. Rowling” who authored the hugely successful Harry Potter series.

He wrote “Me And My Best Friend” and it tells about his relationship with his dog.

His mother Jamie, who is herself an author, got in touch with publishers.

US company, Strategic Book Publishing, liked Leo’s work and they signed up Leo to write 23 more books.

He will write under his mother’s pseudonym, J.S. Huntlands, to protect his privacy.

“I like Harry Potter but I like my books even more. Writing makes me very happy - it’s so interesting,” Leo was quoted as saying.

Though his school teachers are happy about his success, they had once written in a report that his story-writing needs improvement and he “needed to remember there’s a beginning, middle and end”.
