Six killed in Iraq violence
December 5th, 2011 - 3:08 am ICT by IANSBaghdad, Dec 5 (IANS) At least six people were killed and nine injured in separate bomb attacks in north and central Iraq Sunday.
In northern Iraq, two civilians were killed and three wounded when a bomb went off inside a house in Dumeiz district in Kiruk city, some 250 km north of Baghdad, Xinhua quoted a police source as saying while requesting anonymity.
In Baghdad, a total of six civilians were injured after a roadside bomb detonated in Camp Sara district in the southeast of the capital, said a source in Iraq’s interior ministry seeking anonymity.
Earlier in the day, police reported killing of four Iraqi soldiers when a roadside bomb went off near their patrol in central Abu Ghraib area, some 20 km west of Baghdad.
