Six explosions in 75 minutes

Bangalore, July 25 (IANS) Following are the areas rocked by low-intensity bomb explosions in Bangalore Friday: 1.20 pm: Madiwala, about 10 km from city centre, on busy Hosur Road leading to Electronic City, home to a number of leading as well as small IT firms. One woman in her mid-thirties died and three were injured. Unofficial reports say two explosions took place Madiwala, but police are yet to confirm that.

1.25 pm: Nayandhalli, 10 km from city centre, on Mysore Road, another road with heavy traffic as it leads to Mysore.

1.40 pm: Adugodi, close to Madiwala. At least two injured

2.10 pm: Koramangala, an upscale residential and commercial area, 12 km from city centre.

2.25 pm: Vittal Mallya Road, an area housing UB city of liquor baron Vijay Mallya and Mallya Hospital, a leading medicare centre.

2.35 pm: Richmond Town, another upscale residential and business area, 5 km from city centre.
