Six die in suspected murder-suicide attack in southern Florida
September 27th, 2010 - 6:11 pm ICT by BNO NewsRIVIERA BEACH, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) — Six people were killed on early Monday morning and a seventh person was injured after a suspected murder-suicide attack in southern Florida, police said.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m. EDT at a home in Riviera Beach, a city in Palm Beach County. Few details were immediately released.
Police say the suspected gunman entered a home and killed his estranged wife and four children. He then fatally shot himself in the head when police arrived. A seventh person, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound in the neck.
