Singapore Airlines offers its passengers to get a taste of Singapore free

Singapore, Nov 17 (ANI): To attract global passengers to Singapore, Singapore Airlines (SA) in association with the Singapore Tourism Board has announced Your Uniquely Singapore Transit Adventure.
According to SA, when a flight makes a quick stopover at Singapores Changi Airport, the airline has suggested to take a break from the four walls of the airport and hop onto a Free City Shuttle to savour a free meal at any one of the three stops (Little India, Suntec City Mall or Bugis) or indulge in some great retail therapy.
This offer is valid upto December 31, 2007
For Indian passengers who do not hold a valid Singapore visa and are in transit with an onward journey to any third country will be eligible for the Free City Shuttle if they are in possession of a valid onward ticket departing within the next four days, and if they satisfy the following criteria: Possession of a valid visa or long-term pass issued by any of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States of America, Germany, Switzerland.
All transit passengers who satisfy the above criteria are not guaranteed entry but are still subjected to Singapores prevailing entry requirements.
Transit passengers who satisfy all the above requirements and who are allowed entry can be granted a stay of up to four days in Singapore.
Extension of stay for transit passengers under the Visa Free Transit Facilities (VFTF) scheme is strictly not allowed.
Singapore Airlines is the first airline in the world to offer 3D games as part of its inflight entertainment system. Singapores Changi Airport, which will be home to the Singapore Airlines A380 fleet, and when the new Terminal 3 opens early next year, 19 gates across the three terminals will be fully A380-ready, including having aerobridge access to both decks.
Singapore Airlines is particularly delighted to recognise the impressive operating capabilities of the A380, demonstrated since the aircrafts first flight in April 2005. (ANI)
