Seven gold, but who is Phelps’ girlfriend?

Beijing, Aug 16 (IANS) He has won seven gold medals already at the Beijing Olympics. An eighth one awaits swimmer Michael Phelps Sunday and after that he no longer needs to chase history, for he himself would have created it. There are talks that he is also set for a million dollar bonus for his feat and it could increase many times more if he gets to eight.
Currently he has 13 gold and two bronze from Athens and Beijing Olympic Games.
But the paparazzi, the world over, are still keen on knowing whether or not he has a girlfriend. And if he does, who is it.
The two names doing the rounds are Phelps’ teammate Amanda Beard, who recently posed nude for an ad campaign, and a British model Lily Donaldson.
Amanda Beard, 26, is competing at her fourth Games and has won seven medals, two gold, four silver and one bronze, but none so far in Beijing. She holds the world record for women’s 200m breaststroke.
Lily Donaldson, 21, is one of the top models in the fashion world and took over as the younger face of Burberry from Kate Moss last year.
