Selma Blair was certain of beating Holmes for ‘Dawson’s Creek’

London, July 21 (IANS) Actress Selma Blair was certain she would beat superstar Tom Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes when they both tried out for a part in the TV show “Dawson’s Creek” because Katie was too tall. According to contactmusic.com, Selma was very sure she would get the part but Katie bagged it.
Selma said: “Holmes got it fair and square but I remember seeing her walk into the (audition) room and thinking, ‘She is just the tallest girl. There’s no way they’ll give it to her. She won’t even fit on camera.’ Then I ate my words. She was adorable.”
