London, November 29 (ANI): Love is anything but simple. Such is the idea one gets when looking at the story of Alexandra Manning who lives with four of her many lovers.

The 37-year-old is presently seeing seven people at the same time, consisting both of men and women.

“It’s unnatural to expect one person to be able to give you everything your heart needs,” News of the World quoted her as saying.

Alexandra’s romantic liaisons began 20 years ago when she first met her true love Elizabeth, 39.

She began a sexual relationship with fellow director Robert, now 54, around the same time and interestingly Elizabeth and Robert also started sharing the sheets with Alexandra’s full consent - and the three lovers often ended up together.

But that is just the beginning. Over the last 15 years, Alexandra met her three girlfriends, Susan, 33, Carol, 34, and Lucy, 37, and they, along with Robert, all share a large three-bedroom house in Cornwall - and a vast home-made bed that can accommodate five.

Alexandra said: “We all share a bed most nights, but if someone wants to be ‘coupley’ - say, if I want to be on my own with Carol or Susan - the two of us will sleep in the guest bedroom.

“But often, the five of us share the big bed in the main room. It’s lovely being able to turn over and snuggle up to a different person. We tend not to have sex in the bed at night because everyone joins in, and then you get exhausted through lack of sleep! Instead, we’ll have sex in the afternoon or early evening in one of the other rooms.”

Meanwhile, Elizabeth, Alexandra’s first love, lives next door with her ‘wife’ Mary and the two often pop in the bed with Alexandra, who insists there is no love rivalry.

When asked if she wanted to settle down with just one person eventually, Alexandra replied: “Absolutely not. We’ve been a fivesome for so long, it would feel odd to be with just one person, man or woman. I couldn’t imagine life any other way.” (ANI)
