London, Feb 26 (IANS) Hollywood star Sean Penn became a real-life hero after he personally saved two people in Haiti who had got trapped in a building following a small aftershock.
The Oscar winner, who’s on a rescue mission in the earthquake hit Caribbean nation, found an orphaned child and a woman badly injured in a collapsed building.
The 49-year-old star - who runs the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organisation - drove with his 19-year-old daughter Dylan to rescue them, reports contactmusic.com.
After Penn managed to free the pair, he personally drove them to the University of Miami hospital camp in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. He waited for both the woman and child to be treated for their injuries and later took them back to his home as they had nowhere else to go.
