School students injured in China quake
October 25th, 2010 - 6:19 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Oct 25 (IANS) A moderate earthquake that hit China’s Henan province Sunday left 12 students injured, officials said Monday morning.
The quake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale, struck Zhoukou city at 4.58 p.m. Sunday, Xinhua reported citing the China National Seismological Network.
Twenty-four houses in Taikang county collapsed while 12 students in a middle school were injured and had to be admitted in a hospital.
