Scherzinger roped in for ‘Phantom of the Opera’ sequel
October 10th, 2009 - 12:28 am ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 9 (IANS) Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger has been roped in to work with renowned music composer Andrew Lloyd Webber for a sequel of the hit show “The Phantom of the Opera”.
The singer’s band is currently on a hiatus after reports of infighting and discontent among the bandmates, but frontwoman Scherzinger has been inundated with exciting new projects like the current one, reports contactmusic.com.
Her representative has confirmed she will be involved with Webber’s new Phantom-themed show “Love Never Dies”, which hits London’s West End in March 2010 and in New York in November, 2010.
It is not known if Scherzinger will also be starring in the show, which continues the story of an obsessive, faceless theatre ghoul.
