Washington, Nov 17 (ANI): Former US Vice President candidate Sarah Palin has said that her daughter’s ex-fiance Levi Johnston’s nude modelling stint in Playgirl is heartbreaking.

Johnston rose to fame after Palin announced during her campaign that her daughter, Bristol, was five months pregnant with the aspiring model’s baby.

But after a few months of the birth of their baby in December 2008, the couple called off the engagement ending their three-year relationship.

Speaking on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday, Alaska’s former governor quips referred to Johnston’s recent Playgirl pictorial as “a bit heartbreaking,” according to ETOnline.

“I believe he goes by the name Ricky Hollywood now . . . He’s quite busy with the media tours . . . That’s Levi’s gig right now,” Us magazine quoted Palin as saying.

However, she said that teenaged Johnston will “forever be the father of this beautiful baby [grandson Tripp].”

In Oprah interview snippets released last week, Palin said that Johnston would be welcome at the Palin family table for Thanksgiving.

However, Johnston is in no mood to entertain her wishes.

In an interview with Playgirl on Friday, he reportedly said “You could tell by her laugh she was full of it.”

The olive branch was “a nice gesture but she didn’t mean it,” he added; turkey day with the clan would be “awkward,” he told the magazine. (ANI)
