San Bruno, Sep 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The massive explosion in San Bruno which resulted in a huge flame engulfing the region has made many people homeless and over 30 injured. The residents got the chock of their life when they heard the deafening blast and witnessed the 100 feet long flame which engulfed at least 20 homes and made a mess of them. Panic stricken people were seen running for safety and they gathered at the nearby Bayhill shopping center. Some people came there with their pets. Some of the residents who have lost their homes in the huge flame are clueless about where they should stay. Their houses have been gutted and devastated by the flame and apparently they have lost their properties in the calamity. Some of them are unsure about what they have lost.

Many people who left their house and saw the fire encroaching on their properties said that they had initially thought it to be a quake. Some people were so taken aback by the blast and the flames that they could not even escape the home in their cars. Some people said that they felt the heat was so intense that it could have burnt their skin. The regional authorities soon started asking the people to leave their homes and fire trucks reached the place soon.

The residents who came to the shopping center after being evacuated from their homes were shaken to the core and talked to each other about their losses. Bob Marshall the former Mayor said his house was not affected by the fire. The fire was massive and the firemen were trying to tame it with their equipments.
