Saddam had a weakness for baby wipes: New York Post

In his book, “The Terrorist Watch: Inside the Desperate Race to Stop the Next Attack”, which is due on the stands on November 13, Piro spent five to seven hours a day with the Iraqi tyrant.

The New York Post quotes Piro as saying that “If Saddam had enough baby wipes, he would use them to clean food like apples before he ate them.”

According to the paper, Piro manipulating Saddam by controlling his access to baby wipes.

” For Saddam’s birthday, Piro, who was born in Beirut, asked his mother to bake Lebanese cookies and send them from California to Baghdad by FedEx.

When Piro and Saddam finally parted, Saddam was shaken and got tears in his eyes. (ANI)
