Ryanair passengers to be charged for peeing!
April 8th, 2010 - 5:54 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, April 8 (ANI): Ryanair passengers will now be charged 1.65 dollars and 1.44 dollars each time they wish to use to the toilet.
Toilets of the Irish airline will now be coin-operated. And the charges for using the loo will be an extra expense, which will be separate from baggage check-in fees and snacks fees.
It is also expected that some toilet facilities will be reduced from the airlines.
“By charging for the toilets we are hoping to change passenger behaviour so that they use the bathroom before or after the flight,” News.com.au quoted Ryanair spokesman Stephen McNamara as saying.
“That will enable us to remove two out of three of the toilets and make way for at least six extra seats,’ he added.
Ryanair had earlier increased its baggage check-in fees by 33 percent to 33 dollars a bag. (ANI)
