Russia’s Loch Ness Monster, “Nesski”, killing anglers?
July 12th, 2010 - 3:49 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, July 12 (ANI): A creature in Russia that resembles Scotland’s Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, is said to be dragging anglers to their deaths in Lake Chany, a vast freshwater lake deep in Siberia.
“Nesski”, a snake-like beast, has been described as having a Nessie-style long neck and large teeth dotted around a huge jaw.
The latest victim, who disappeared without trace only last week, was a local 59-year-old named Imamentinom Naurusovym.
“I was with my friend Imamentinom some 300 yards from the shore. He hooked something huge on his bait and he stood up in the boat to reel it in,” the Daily Express quoted survivor Vladimir Golishev, 60, as saying.
“But it pulled with such force that it overturned the boat,” he said.
He said his friend was pulled under, and added that “he didn’t make it and they have found no remains”.
Three years ago soldier Mikhail Doronin, 32, vanished in similar circumstances. And in the past three years 19 people have drowned in Lake Chany. Few bodies have ever been found. (ANI)
