Moscow, Sep 15 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A Russian businesswoman has been sentenced to jail for ordering the murders of her father and his expectant girlfriend.

Yekaterina Borisova, 29, was jailed for 16 years by a court Wednesday in Saratov city in central Russia.

The killers received 19 years each.

Borisova was angry after her father, Ivan, a successful businessman, refused to buy her a new car. Her anger intensified when she was introduced to Ivan’s new girlfriend, who was only a year older and five months pregnant.

She feared that she would miss out on her inheritance, reports said.

The killers attacked Ivan and his girlfriend at their apartment. The couple died at the scene of multiple knife wounds.
