Russia helicopter crash kills three
July 25th, 2011 - 1:39 pm ICT by IANSMoscow, July 25 (IANS) A helicopter with five people on board crashed in Russia Monday, killing three and injuring the other two, a media report said.
An engine failure occurred when the Mi-8 helicopter was about to land in Chukotka region, Xinhua reported citing Itar-Tass news agency.
The aircraft crashed into the ground and caught fire.
Earlier this month, another Mi-8 helicopter crashed while ferrying oil workers to a drilling site in Siberia, killing two and injuring 14.
