Robert Gates Expresses His Endorsement For The Cancellation Of The Potential Burning Of The Koran

Now, he is bequeathing his tone to those of high-ranking American Generals and to those of other American military personnel, who have denounced the objective of a Floridian church to set fire to the Koran to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the catastrophic terrorist attacks on American soil that took place in September 2001. David Petraeus is the occupant of the post of General in the American Army, who presently functions as the commanding officer of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan and as the chief officer of the U.S. Forces Afghanistan. Afghanistan, it must be remembered, is a principally Mohammedan nation, which was invaded by America and the West in October 2001 that led to the dethronement of the oppressive Taliban.
Gates, by means of occupying the Defense Secretariat, is the boss of the Pentagon as well since the Pentagon functions as the center of operations of the American Department of Defense. The Pentagon is based at Arlington in Virginia.
Gen. Petraeus has, with apprehensiveness, articulated that the intention of the Floridian church to put a match to the Koran could jeopardize the existence of the American military in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now, a spokesperson of the Pentagon, Col. David Lapan, has revealed that Gates uttered to his workforce on Wednesday that he fervently endorses the standpoint of Petraeus. Both have remarked that the igniting the Koran would prove to be a perilous and foolhardy step. Koran happens to be the sacred tome of the Mohammedans globally.
Col. Lapan has vocalized that the superior defense or military heads have not directly established contacts with the Floridian church to defuse this issue.
