Robber robs NY bank with bunch of flowers!
July 21st, 2010 - 7:02 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 21 (ANI): A robber robbed a New York bank armed only with a bunch of fresh flowers and a threatening note.
From CCTV pictures, the robber could be seen standing at the counter of a Manhattan branch of the Bank of Smithtown clutching the bouquet, before pulling out the note, “Don’t be a hero”, and showing it to the cashier.
On the card, the robber also instructed the bank to hand over all of its 50 dollar and 100 dollar bills, Sky News reported.
The police are still hunting for the man, who is said to have fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
And it is understood a dye pack inside the bag of stolen money exploded. (ANI)
