Road fatalities fall in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, July 11 (IANS/WAM) Number of human deaths as a result of being hit by vehicles have fallen by 19.5 percent to 33 in the first half of 2012 in Abu Dhabi.

Figures released by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Abu Dhabi showed that 33 people had had lost their lives after being hit by cars in the first six months of 2012, while in the same period last year the figure was 44.
