Rihanna still holds flame for Brown

London, Aug 5 (IANS) Pop singer Rihanna is still in love with her violent ex Chris Brown, as her mother reveals he has a bizarre hold over the singer.
Brown pleaded guilty to attacking Rihanna earlier this year and was sentenced to five years’ supervised probation and community service. He was also handed a restraining order and banned from going within 150 feet (46 meters) of the star. But Rihanna’s mother, Monica Fenty, fears her daughter is still infatuated with Brown and she is powerless to do anything about it, reports ok.co.uk.
“I’m devastated, but what can I do? We love her but can’t stand to see her play Russian roulette with her life. Chris has a bizarre power over her. She still loves him and he knows it. In her eyes, he’s a god. Even after what he did, it’s not diminished,” said Fenty.
Rihanna and Brown were reportedly spotted together at a hotel in New York recently sparking rumours they have rekindled their romance.
